Explanation
This comic portrays a man being confronted by an alien race for having killed more of them than any other human in history. The man protests that he did not act alone and that nobody knew they were an alien race, then tries to excuse himself by saying he works from home and had a lot of downtime. The aliens declare it is too late for excuses, and the man screams "NOOOO!" as a giant alien appendage strikes him.
The final panel reveals the man standing next to an enormous ball-and-chain structure, suggesting he has been captured or punished by the aliens. The humor comes from the mundane excuse -- working from home with too much free time -- being offered as a defense for what apparently amounted to an interspecies genocide. The implication is that the man was unknowingly killing aliens (perhaps insects or some other creatures not recognized as intelligent) out of sheer boredom, and only now faces the consequences of his idle destruction.
