This comic satirizes the common religious argument that atheists secretly worship themselves. One character tells another, "My theory is that even though you're an atheist, you still worship. You just worship yourself. You see yourself as all powerful." This is a real argument sometimes made against atheists -- that rejecting God means elevating the self to a godlike status.
