Explanation
This comic parodies superhero team dynamics by reimagining the "we need to talk" breakup conversation in a superhero context. A woman in a superhero costume tells her partner Tom, "Tom, I think we should be... just friends." Tom, also in superhero attire, takes this completely literally and enthusiastically interprets "just friends" as a superhero team concept. The humor comes from the escalating disconnect between the two characters.
