The Joke
This multi-panel comic depicts a couple in bed after sex, and the man is deeply insecure about his performance. In the first panel, the woman says "That was lovely," but the man escalates it to "That was GODDAMNED AMAZING." The Humor
The comedy comes from the absurd mismatch between the intimate, personal context and the man's hyper-competitive, defensive monologue. The escalation is key -- the woman was perfectly happy with "lovely," but he keeps building a case nobody asked for.
