Explanation
The Joke
A woman invites a man back to her place, telling him to make sure he brings a condom. In the next panels, they are shown in an intimate embrace, and she asks if he brought one. He holds up a condom -- but then, instead of using it for its intended purpose, he inflates it and twists it into a balloon animal (a dog shape). In the final panel, the woman sits in bed looking unimpressed while he proudly displays his balloon animal creation and shouts "Hooray!"
The Humor
The comic sets up a clear sexual scenario with the condom request, then subverts expectations completely. Instead of using the condom for its intended purpose, the man treats it as a balloon for making balloon animals -- a skill associated with children's birthday party entertainers, not romantic encounters. The humor lies in the absurd mismatch between the sexually charged setup and the innocent, childlike payoff. The woman's deadpan expression in the final panel contrasts perfectly with his enthusiastic "Hooray!", suggesting he genuinely thinks this is a better use of their time together.
