The Joke
Two stereotypical drug dealers in trench coats and sunglasses approach a woman, asking "Hey kid, you wanna buy some drugs?" The woman pushes back with a surprisingly practical critique: she points out that they're old, have a net worth of zero, and questions whether she is really their "target audience for black market substances."
The dealers protest that they have "more or less the experience of drugs, minus the stigma, plus questionable health claims." The woman fires back: "Hey lady, you wanna buy some organic CBD kale cups?" — revealing that the dealers' pitch is essentially indistinguishable from trendy wellness marketing. The final panel shows the woman walking away saying "So hard" — suggesting the wellness industry and drug dealing face the same challenge of finding customers.
The Humor
The comic draws a parallel between illegal drug dealers and the modern wellness/supplement industry. Both are selling substances with questionable health claims to people who may not need them. The joke inverts the "stranger offering drugs" trope by having the target be more savvy than the dealers, and then reveals that the supposedly legitimate wellness industry uses essentially the same sales pitch. The punchline suggests that the line between a drug dealer and a CBD-kale-cup vendor is mostly one of branding and legality rather than substance.
