The Joke
A job interviewer asks a candidate: "What would you bring to this company if we hired you?" The candidate's answer is blunt and literal: "Black-Suing, the falcon." The interviewer, taken aback, explains the downsides: the falcon would carry off small employees of rival companies and bring their bodies back to the office. The candidate calmly responds: "Poor morale. He won't live at the office though." The final panel shows the candidate has brought the falcon to the interview, and it is now perched on the interviewer's desk. Someone suggests: "Or we can deal with it" -- implying the falcon is already a fait accompli.
The Humor
The humor comes from the candidate treating a completely absurd and impractical answer -- bringing a predatory falcon to the workplace -- with the same matter-of-fact tone one would use to discuss relevant job skills. The specificity of the falcon having a name ("Black-Suing") and the candidate's calm acknowledgment of its drawbacks (it will attack small employees but at least it won't live in the office) parodies the structure of a real job interview where candidates discuss their strengths and weaknesses. The comedy escalates when we see the falcon is already physically present, suggesting the candidate never intended to ask permission. This satirizes both the absurd questions asked in job interviews and the equally absurd answers candidates sometimes give, taken to a surreal extreme.
