nothing-2
Explanation
The comic depicts a conversation between a man (Todd) and God about the creation of the universe from nothing. Todd asks, "God, how did you create something from nothing?" God deflects by responding, "I dunno Todd, how'd you get such a tiny dick?"
When Todd protests that people are always asking personal questions and that it's "none of your business if I wanna make something out of nothing," God persists: "Seriously though, why the tiny dick?" Todd offers a philosophical consolation: "All dicks are tiny in this vast cosmos."
The humor works on several levels. First, it subverts the expected reverent tone of a conversation with God by having the deity be petty and fixated on crude insults. Second, it satirizes how people deflect difficult questions - God dodges the deep metaphysical question about creation ex nihilo by launching a personal attack, much like how real people change the subject when confronted with questions they cannot answer. Finally, Todd's closing line is a parody of the kind of cosmic-scale philosophical platitudes people use to find comfort, applied here to an absurdly inappropriate context.
