Explanation
This comic is a riff on the Garden of Eden story. God shows Adam and Eve a tree and tells them it produces fruit that "makes it so poop in this universe is gross." God instructs them not to touch the fruits because "they're every delicate part of the process."
The implication is that in this version of the creation myth, the forbidden tree isn't the Tree of Knowledge -- it's the mechanism that makes bodily functions disgusting. God warns them that if they tamper with it, they'll have to "eat food and then poop it out because waste removal would be basically impossible in this universe."
The humor comes from reimagining the original sin as a plumbing accident rather than a moral failing. Instead of gaining forbidden knowledge, humanity's fall from grace is that someone broke the cosmic sewage system.
