The Joke

The Humor
The comic is a wordless visual gag that plays on the idea that a clown's oversized red nose would be so large that it takes over any selfie attempt, much like how real people sometimes struggle with unflattering close-ups of their nose when taking selfies at close range. The clown's frustrated expression in the final panel sells the joke -- this is apparently a recurring problem. There is also an element of absurdist humor in applying an everyday modern annoyance (bad selfie angles) to a clown, a figure not typically associated with smartphone culture. The title "Pix" is slang for pictures/photos, fitting the selfie theme.
