The Joke
A scientist excitedly announces that they have captured the nature of all reality in one equation, presenting what appears to be a grand unified theory. A colleague warns them to be "careful." The scientist then explains this is going to be the new kind of science: a single equation that can be used to sell organic products, to predict the stock market, and to spark the next scientific revolution.
The final panel, labeled "Ever After," shows the outcome: the equation has been turned into a bottle of "Pseudo Elixir" labeled "Based on principles of Newtonian fundamentals" -- a quack product that uses the veneer of scientific authority to sell snake oil.
The Humor
The comic satirizes the phenomenon of grand scientific claims being co-opted for pseudoscientific commercial purposes. The trajectory from "I have captured all of reality in one equation" to a bottle of fake elixir is a compressed version of what actually happens in the real world: legitimate (or legitimately-sounding) scientific ideas get simplified, distorted, and eventually slapped on products to give them an air of credibility. The colleague's early warning of "careful" proves prophetic. The joke also pokes fun at the hubris of scientists who believe they have found a "theory of everything," as such grandiose claims are particularly vulnerable to being misused by charlatans.
References
The comic likely alludes to Stephen Wolfram's "A New Kind of Science" (2002), in which Wolfram proposed that simple computational rules could explain all of nature. The book was controversial for its sweeping claims. The "pseudo elixir" ending echoes the long history of patent medicines and snake oil products that have borrowed scientific-sounding language to sell dubious remedies.
