The Joke
The comic opens with a narrator expressing a worry: that the first aliens to visit Earth will land on a farm. The panel then shows a group of aliens reporting back on what they have observed. One alien describes humanity's main occupation as "cultivating birds with enormous breasts."
The joke relies on a double meaning. The aliens have landed on a poultry farm, where humans have indeed selectively bred chickens and turkeys to have disproportionately large breast meat (the breast being the most commercially valuable cut). The aliens, presumably unfamiliar with human agriculture and anatomy terminology, describe this practice in a way that sounds absurd or salacious to human ears, since "breasts" also has an obvious anatomical connotation when applied to humans.
The Humor
The comedy works through the lens of perspective -- how would an alien species interpret human activities if they had no cultural context? The selective breeding of poultry for oversized breast meat is, when described clinically by an outsider, genuinely strange-sounding. The fact that the aliens' description is technically accurate makes it funnier: we really do cultivate birds with enormous breasts. The double entendre adds an extra layer, as the statement sounds far more scandalous than the mundane agricultural reality it describes. The comic plays on the idea that first impressions matter, and that an alien civilization's entire understanding of humanity could be shaped by the accident of where they happen to land.
