Explanation
The Joke
A person tells their friend that they have news that may "startle" them. They reveal that they are a male robot. The friend protests, "You can't be! You have long hair!" The robot explains that every time they had sex, their gender pronoun was set to "m" — implying they were built from a mail (postal) service, and that their sole purpose was to eventually seduce their friend's wife. In the final panel, the friend asks how to tell his wife, and the robot says he doesn't know, but suggests letting her know "she's a lesbian."
The Humor
The comic plays on the absurdity of gender reveal twists taken to an extreme sci-fi scenario. The friend's objection that the robot can't be male because they have long hair satirizes how people associate superficial traits (like hairstyle) with gender. The escalating absurdity — from "I'm a robot" to "I was specifically designed to seduce your wife" to the punchline that the wife is therefore a lesbian (for being attracted to a female-presenting robot) — creates a layered joke where each revelation is more ridiculous than the last. The deadpan clown-nosed character design adds to the surreal comedy.
