Decaf
Explanation
This comic is a short existential joke about decaf coffee. In the first panel, a man presents a box of decaf coffee. His friend responds, "That's pointless." In the third panel, the narration reads: "Imagine being a human and calling something else pointless." The final panel shows the first man in existential crisis, face in hands, next to his box of decaf. The joke operates on two levels: first, the surface-level observation that decaf coffee (coffee without caffeine, its primary functional ingredient) is indeed somewhat pointless. But the deeper joke is the existential one -- humans, whose own existence could be argued to be cosmically pointless, have no business calling anything else pointless. It's a classic SMBC move of taking a mundane observation and pivoting it into an existential crisis.
