Explanation
The Joke
A man announces that he has a fetish for people not being aroused by his fetish. He tells this to a couple, and the woman immediately responds, "That's not a real fetish," showing clear disinterest and dismissal. However, the man on the right becomes excited and says "DO ME NOW" -- suggesting that the woman's lack of arousal is itself arousing to the fetish-holder, but the other man's enthusiasm would actually be a turn-off.
In the next panel, a different couple is in bed together, and the man says "Okay, seriously, this is hot." The woman responds with an exaggerated "YAWN" -- indicating that she has learned to weaponize boredom and disinterest as a form of foreplay for someone with this particular fetish.
The Humor
The comic plays with a delightful logical paradox: if someone is aroused by others NOT being aroused by their fetish, then anyone who finds the fetish unappealing is inadvertently fulfilling it. The woman who dismisses it as "not a real fetish" is, by that very dismissal, feeding into exactly what he wants. Conversely, anyone who tries to participate enthusiastically would ruin it. The final panel takes this to its logical conclusion -- the yawning woman in bed has figured out that performing boredom is the most seductive thing she can do, which creates a recursive loop: is she genuinely bored, or is she performing boredom as an act of intimacy?
This is a classic SMBC-style exploration of a self-referential paradox, similar to the liar's paradox or Russell's paradox, but applied to human sexuality in an absurd and comedic way.
